ULINE touring case library

About this library

ULINE is the shipping and warehouse supplier most production shops and warehouses already buy from. This library covers the ULINE units that go on a truck: attached-lid, Mighty and Brute totes, Rubbermaid cargo boxes, Sterilite storage boxes, stack-and-nest and straight-wall bins, milk crates, plastic, steel and wire bulk containers, wood crates, corrugated Gaylord and triple-wall bulk boxes, IBC totes, drums, pallets, poly box, basket, bulk and tilt trucks, Brute and wheeled trash cans, platform trucks, and utility, wire, steel and tool carts. Every entry uses the outside dimensions from the ULINE item page, or the measured size from the page's dimension notes when ULINE prints one. ULINE names many totes by their inside size, so a "Round Trip Tote - 13.8 x 8.9 x 8.8" imports at its outside size of 15.2 x 10.9 x 9.7 in. Round cans and drums import as the square they take up. Where ULINE publishes only a shipping weight, the entry uses that as its weight and says so. Production managers and warehouse teams use these dimensions to lay out trailers, plan truck counts and estimate per-truck weight before the load ships.

Frequently asked questions

What does the ULINE case library contain?

417 entries with length, width, height and weight, taken from the ULINE item pages. Each entry imports as a case you can drop straight into a pack, and the description gives the ULINE model number so you can match it to an order.

Why does the size in the name not match the dimensions?

ULINE names many totes by their inside size. Truck Packer needs the outside size to plan a load, so every entry uses the outside dimensions ULINE prints next to the inside ones. Those entries say "ULINE names it by the inside size" in the description.

How are round cans, drums and platform trucks sized?

Truck Packer plans with boxes, so a round trash can or drum imports as the square it takes up: its diameter on both sides, or its width across the handles where ULINE gives one. Platform trucks use the deck length and width and the height to the top of the handle. Corrugated bulk boxes that ULINE lists only by inside size say so in the description, because the box itself is slightly larger.

Where do the weights come from?

Most entries use the item weight ULINE prints in its chart. For the rest, ULINE prints only a shipping weight, so the entry uses that: the weight of one unit, or the carton weight divided by the count when ULINE sells by the carton. Those entries say "estimated weight" in the description and run slightly heavy because of packaging. Weigh the unit once it is packed and edit the weight in Truck Packer.

Why are the Pelican cases ULINE sells not included?

They are already in the Pelican library, with Pelican's own numbers, so they are not repeated here.

How do I import the ULINE library into Truck Packer?

Open Truck Packer, go to Cases, open the Manufacturer Library and pick this library to import it in one click. You can also browse it from the Library panel inside a pack and drag any case straight into the packing space.

Where do the numbers come from?

From the item pages at https://www.uline.com, read from the dimension table and dimension notes on each page. If you spot a discrepancy, email help@backlinelogic.com with the case name.
